Fashion for the Expecting Moms

There’s one thing that really stressed me out when I was pregnant for both my children. No, it wasn’t the fact that I’d get leg cramps when I’m sleeping, or the fact that my stomach is growing faster than my baby or even the fact that I sweat even in the coldest of rooms. (Luckily for me I had no morning sickness).

One thing that bothered me was, the town where I’m from, just have the most hideous maternity clothes an expectant mom has ever laid their eyes on. Hellooo.. we’re carrying the babies, we’re NOT one. So get rid of the silly frills, and bows and teddy bears on those hideous looking blouses.

Some of us moms (like me) aren’t one of those attractive pregnant women, who only grows around the belly okay and looks like there’s a glow worm living permanently inside of them. No! I’m the huge round mom, that looks like the life has been sucked out of her so I don’t need anything else to make me look more unattractive!

So anyways, I found a couple of really nice maternity clothes, for the expectant mums. Whether you’re a stay-at-home mom or a working mom, these picks are just perfect for you!

Hope you see something you like!

Love,
S.

Sink or Swim??

If there’s one thing you must know about me is, I don’t swim.

Since I was young, I’ve never really learned to swim. Only in the past year or so, have I tried learning by joining friends in the pool. However, I was still feeling self-conscious about myself.. because while everyone else was fooling around and having fun in the pool, there I was.. goggles and all.

And ever since giving birth to my 2 children, I’ve always felt self-conscious of being in a bathing suit. I was more aware of the post-baby fat, the muffin tops/love handles, my ginormous thighs, etc…

Thank God for cover ups! So if you, are like me, instead of lugging a huge towel and trying to cover yourself from neck to ankle,  you can always throw a cover up over your bathsuit and just chill.

So even if you choose to lounge by the poolside, you can still look fashionable and awesome, regardless!

For my more full figured/plus size readers.. you are not alone! If your confidence shines through, you can wear practically anything and pull it off.
