Sienna Miller is famously known for her love of fashion as well as her status as style trendsetter - more so than her acting career. After receiving a lot of bad press in recent years due to her relationship with the then-married Balthazar Getty (who plays Tommy Walker on hit TV series, Brothers and Sisters), Sienna Miller is determined to move forward and launch herself in the spotlight for things that matter. Like her recent role as the Baroness, in the box office film, G.I. Joe: Rise of The Cobra.

The film may have fallen flat with movie critics, however, Sienna Miller’s fashion has fashion critics fawning over her wardrobe at the red carpet of the film’s premiere and also at the G.I. Joe film photocalls and promo tours.

In The September Issue, viewers have an intimate, funny and surprising look of Anna Wintour, and her team of editors as they create this must-have “fashion bible”.

Anna Wintour is the British-American editor in chief of American Vogue and definitely the high priestess of the fashion world. Designers go to Wintour on which pieces should make it to the runway.. and I’m not talking just any fashion designers. We’re talking Oscar De La Renta, Jean Paul Gaultier, Karl Lagerfeld.. basically the who’s who of fashion.

Miranda Priestly (played by Meryl Streep) in The Devil Wears Prada was said to loosely portray Anna Wintour, although Wintour and Vogue dismissed those claims. Well, if Anna’s former assistant, Lauren Weisberger was the one who wrote it, she must have been certainly been inspired by SOMEONE.

When asked by David Letterman regarding the film and how it was based on her and her team, Anna replied, “I seem to remember that the movie was fiction.. and well, we really like fiction at Vogue“.

The name Louis Vuitton is one of the most internationally renowned luxury brand that stirs the hearts of millions. So much so that it has also become one of the most counterfeited contemporary labels around. I just came back from the mall and I saw this lady carrying a multi-colored monogram counterfeit LV tote that instead of it being LV, the monograms looked like XL to me!

So anyways, back to Fashion Forward Friday, I was checking out the Louis Vuitton Fall 2009 Collection and I believe Marc Jacobs had created a line that just screamed to me, “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!”

Straight from the eighties with the ruffles, poufed shoulders, ruched bodices, padded shoulders, Marc Jacobs certainly put some zing in the LV Fall 2009 collection! Seems like he was paying tribute to all the trends that we thought of as fashion faux pas of the 80’s.. and turning it into absolute gorgeousness..

Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel brings great vision to the line and it showed during one of Chanel’s fashion shows in Paris. It definitely caught the eyes of all the fashion hungry fashion editors who were present at his show.

The Chanel Perspex briefcase is a see-through  fantastical and futuristic working girl’s briefcase that has been the talk of the town. However, there are no talks for production of the briefcase and so there’s no actual word that this is more than just a prop on the runway.

However, if it does make it to the stores, I’m sure there are those “modern working women” out there who would love to pull this off!! What do you say? Yay or Nay??

Sticking with the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show performances as the theme for my Music Monday here at Accidental Fashionista, here is yet another fabulous performance by Usher at the 2008 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
