It’s Music Monday!! TAF hasn’t featured an MM pick in a while so let’s start with an cool and upbeat song by Cobra Starship ft. Leighton Meester. The reason I chose this song was to not only feature Leighton Meester as a singer, but also because she is clearly making her mark in the fashion world.
Most known for her character Blair Waldorf in CW’s Gossip Girl, Leighton Meester has been stealing the show with Blair Waldorf’s fashion - wearing the most current designer pieces that marks her as a true Upper East Sider. When her character came out wearing Bill Blass’s halter flamenco top in Season 2, the top immediately became one of the most searched for item and was sold out before you can say XOXO!

It’s time for Music Monday and this week I have chosen Kylie Minogue’s Did It Again!
Not only is the music video pretty fabulous, I really do admire Kylie - for her longevity in the music business, great music, love her style, and for the sheer power and strength she has to bounce back from breast cancer and coming out more beautiful than ever.
Here in the music video, she shows a great versatility of styles, labeled as Little Misschevious Sex Kylie, Cute Kylie, Indie Kylie and Dance Kylie. This single was taken from her Impossible Princess album back in 1997. Gosh, that was over 10 years ago.These days, Kylie Minogue is the face for Spanish luxury brand TOUS ad campaign, a fashion jewelry line that has been around since the 1920s.

It’s a very very late Music Monday here on The Accidental Fashionista. Nevertheless, the show must go on and it’s better late than never, right? So for this week, my pick is the song Accessory, taken from the Confessions of A Shopaholic movie soundtrack.
Additional info: Accessory is a song by Jordyn Taylor, an upcoming singer from California and this is her first major music video. She is of Filipino, Spanish and German heritage.

I just absolutely love movies that show a great variety of fashion and styles and a frequent change of wardrobe. Like Sex and The City or even Confessions of a Shopaholic. Another movie that I just adore is 13 Going on 30. Not only do I think that Jennifer Garner is as cute as a button, but the fashion trends from the movie was really really cool.
