The Accidental Fashionista

**As you know, I sort of took a blogging hiatus from TAF, and have just returned. So hope you all don’t mind the late report on the wedding of Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan.

As reported here last month, Channing Tatum and long time love, Jenna Dewan got married on July 11th 2009, in front of 200+ guests at Church Estate Vineyards which is the same location of Fergie and Natasha Bedingfield’s wedding.

Channing Tatum looked very dashing in a simple traditional black suit with a white tie by Giorgio Armani, while his lovely bride, Jenna Dewan wore a beautiful strapless wedding gown designed by Reem Acra. The gown had a sweetheart neckline, bustier bodice and feathered skirt. Jewelery designer Neil Lane custom made the couples wedding bands.

Meanwhile all 12 groomsmen also wore black, while the maid of honor, Emmanuelle Chiriqui and bridesmaids that included, Haylie Duff wore pink halter dresses.

The couple enlisted the help of wedding planner, Mindy Weiss for their “fairy-themed” wedding. Flower girls wore fairy wings walking down the aisle meanwhile vintage hankies were prepared in baskets (with added roses) for guests to wipe their “tears of joy”.

Jenna Dewan’s wedding bouquet consisted of white and pink roses arranged by Mark’s Garden. The cake was a divine creation of a magic castle filled with fairies by Cake Divas in several flavors: red velvet, chocolate with chocolate fudge, and white with “funfetti” frosting, a favorite of the newlyweds.

The whole outdoor ceremony was followed by a sit-down reception in a tent, decorated by Mark’s Garden with thousands of roses, hydrangeas and orchids in reds, fuchsia and blush. The couple enjoyed their first dance to Hawaiian artist Israel “Iz” Ka’ano’i Kamakawiwo’ole’s version of “Somewhere over the Rainbow.”

The beautiful couple set of to Bali for their honeymoon where they got matching tattoos that read “Side by Side” in Balinese.
