2009 MTV Movie Awards Red Carpet (Part 2)
I’m sorry that I was late in posting this up! I’ve been away on holiday and ever since I came back it was crazy hectic and all that.. So anyways, I promised more on the 2009 MTV Movie Awards Red Carpet right? Well, this time, I’m focusing on the DROOLICIOUS MEN that attended the awesome event!!
These Twilight men, Peter Facinelli and Taylor Lautner pull off similar looks of leather jacket, white tee and dark jeans, proving that this classicly casual look is age-proof.
Not many can pull off this “Fisherman’s Wharf” look, but Cam Gigandet certainly can! G.I. Joe’s Channing Tatum also looking broader and hotter than ever in a similar gray v-neck tee with a military jacket.
Zachary Quinto pulls a scruffy look (and succeeding!), in a leather jacket, shirt and tie ensemble. He tones it down with light colored pants. I wish I could say that Jonah Hill did an amazing job as well. Love the guy but not the look. His scruffy look is uneven and too long making them look more whisker-y instead.
Men in Plaid. Twilight’s Kellan Lutz and Transformers star, Tyrese Gibson keep it casual by going all Clark Kent on us! Watch out Tom Welling! These dudes are rockin’ that plaid!
Brody Jenner looking nicely groomed - keeping his facial hair nicely trimmed while Zac Efron, although clean shaven makes his untamed hair look like he was rushing to get ready. But great choice on the threads!
I love a guy who puts some effort into what they wear (even if they do have stylist) and clearly it looks like Forrest Whitaker and JC Chasez DID indeed put a lot of effort. However, I think for a summer evening, JC could do without the scarf, though. But I think his shoes added some pazzazz to his whole outfit!
Lead singer of Incubus, Brandon Boyd and actor Johnathan Schaech also attended the awards show. Brandon Boyd looks somewhat haggard here, though.. I almost didn’t recognize him. Johnathan Schaech, on the other hand, looked very smart in blazer, vest and grey tee. Looking more recognizable than he did in his movie, Quarantine. I barely recognized him there.
Bradley Cooper, Justin Bartha and Ed Helms don’t look hungover at all in their preppy casual looks while King of Leon is all about Sex on Fire in more ways than one!
Overall, the guys did a pretty good job at dressing up, mainly with a theme of grey, denim, leather and military jackets going on. But one person stole the limelight decked out in Roberto Cavalli.. none other than..

BRUNO a.k.a Sasha Baron Cohen!

@Ane: I think you’re absolutely right!
