The Accidental Fashionista

It was a drool fest of extreme proportions when fans crowded in to catch the cast of X-Men Origins: Wolverine during the movie’s premiere at Tempe, Arizona on the 27th of April 2009.

The men, choosing to dress down for the event, looking very casual but at the same time looking mighty hunky dory, driving the screaming fans into a frenzy who came out to see them.

Lynn Collins, who plays Kayla a.k.a. Silverfox was looking stunning in a canary yellow Malandrino dress.

Over at the L.A. screening of X-Men Origins: Wolverine on the 29th of April, it seemed more of a dressing up affair for the men as well as the ladies!

Looking gorgeous yet again, was Lynn Collins wearing a red jersey dress with a gold leaf detail by Emanuel Ungaro from his 2009 Spring collection.

Wed Me Wednesday: The most annoying couple on reality-tv (after Survivor’s Rob and Amber) have finally gotten hitched.. LEGALLY last weekend. After their elopement in Cabos San Lucas, Mexico back in November 2008, Spencer Pratt decided not to legalize the wedding and give his wife-to-be, Heidi Montag, the white wedding that she’s always dreamed about.

Opting for a Monique Lhullier wedding gown from Monique Lhullier’s 2009 Spring Collection, Heidi Montag walked down the aisle, with her father, who gave her away to be married.

The beautiful bride was decked out in close to $1.2 million diamonds, including the Neil Lane diamond cuffs. She also wore an ivory Christian Louboutin Bow T Dorcet heels that couldn’t be seen..

Apparently, Monique Lhuillier was given only three and a half weeks to make the dress, which required 250 hours of work. Heidi came in for five fittings while the dress was being made due to the abundance of detail. She said that Heidi came to her with the idea that she wanted an over-the-top look for her nuptials - pure fantasy. Heidi wanted a dress unlike any other that anyone had ever seen, so Lhuillier showed her eight dresses, and when Heidi saw her dress, she said, “This is it!” Needles to say, Heidi Montag looked gorgeous on her wedding day.

As for her husband, Spencer Pratt, he didn’t even look half bad in his Ermeneigildo Zegna suit!

“The Hills” star couple said their I Do’s (for the second time - making it OFFICIAL and LEGAL) at the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Pasadena, CA. Their guests even included Lauren Conrad (supposed nemesis of Spencer’s and who said she would NOT be attending the wedding), Audrina Patridge, Brody Jenner, as well as Perez Hilton. How else can they get the best exposure, right?

It’s time for Music Monday and this week I have chosen Kylie Minogue’s Did It Again!

Not only is the music video pretty fabulous, I really do admire Kylie - for her longevity in the music business, great music, love her style, and for the sheer power and strength she has to bounce back from breast cancer and coming out more beautiful than ever.

Here in the music video, she shows a great versatility of styles, labeled as Little Misschevious Sex Kylie, Cute Kylie,  Indie Kylie and Dance Kylie. This single was taken from her Impossible Princess album back in 1997. Gosh, that was over 10 years ago.These days, Kylie Minogue is the face for Spanish luxury brand TOUS ad campaign, a fashion jewelry line that has been around since the 1920s.

Taylor Swift has had a great year in 2008, being the biggest selling artist of 2008 in America with combined sales of more than four million albums, for her self-title album as well as her album Fearless, according to Nielsen Soundscan.

2009 has brought in bigger and better things for her, recently winning Album Of The Year, at the Academy if Country Music (ACM) Awards as well as the ACM’s Crystal Milestone Awards to recognize that she’s sold more albums than any other artist this year and has helped country music attract a younger audience. Not only did she win the top honors during the ACM awards, she wins top honors for her style and fashion sense as well.

This 19-year old has become fast recognized as being in the Top Best Dressed lists across the web as well as fashion magazines.

On her most recent trip to the red carpet, at the 44th Annual Academy of Country Music awards, Taylor Swift wowed everyone in this beautiful one shoulder red Angel Sanchez gown with Neil Lane jewelry and VBH clutch. She was breathtakingly flawless.
