The Accidental Fashionista

One other item that is never missing from my makeup bag is my eyelash curler. I am one of those women out there who are not blessed with looonggg, sweepy, thick and curling lashes. Mine are very very straight and average. Therefore, when I want to look my best, I need my eyelash curler, so help me!!

However, just any eyelash curler won’t do for me. I can’t go to a drugstore and buy ‘em.. it just does not work for me. My fave beauty item in my makeup bag goes to: my Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler. A T-shirt is a must have item for any person.. any human being.. regardless of age, sex, culture.. It is your wardrobe staple. It doesn’t matter where, when or how you use it.. a t-shirt is your bare essential.

I just absolutely love movies that show a great variety of fashion and styles and a frequent change of wardrobe. Like Sex and The City or even Confessions of a Shopaholic. Another movie that I just adore is 13 Going on 30. Not only do I think that Jennifer Garner is as cute as a button, but the fashion trends from the movie was really really cool.

Here’s some advice from the stylists of 13 Going on 30!

Sure the movie was a couple of years back, but it’s still do-able anyway!

Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel brings great vision to the line and it showed during one of Chanel’s fashion shows in Paris. It definitely caught the eyes of all the fashion hungry fashion editors who were present at his show.

The Chanel Perspex briefcase is a see-through  fantastical and futuristic working girl’s briefcase that has been the talk of the town. However, there are no talks for production of the briefcase and so there’s no actual word that this is more than just a prop on the runway.

However, if it does make it to the stores, I’m sure there are those “modern working women” out there who would love to pull this off!! What do you say? Yay or Nay??

Reese Witherspoon is showcasing her girl power at the Monsters Vs. Aliens premiere from Europe to L.A! Switching it up from Valentino, Prada, Ports 1961 to Rodarte, I think Reese Witherspoon is looking fabulous!

At the Berlin photocall  of Monsters Vs. Aliens, Reese looks very demure, elegant and chic in her grey Ports 1961 sheath dress with her gray and yellow peep toe Balenciaga pumps.

Then later that night, at the Berlin premiere of Monsters Vs. Aliens, she shimmered beautifully in the aqua colored Valentino dress with grey accents at the empire line and neckline. I love it! Her hair looks gorgeous, skin is glowing.. Awesome!

Flying off to the London premiere of Monsters Vs. Aliens, we see Reese Witherspoon going head-to-toe in a black Prada dress, black tights and black gladiator heels. Not really a fan of this, though as I think it’s such a somber color for a children’s animation film.

As she touches down to the L.A. premiere of Monsters Vs. Aliens, she is seen looking great in the short and sexy glittery Rodarte dress hot off the runwaywith.. the same gray and yellow peep toe Balenciaga pumps that she wore to the Berlin photocall.

Recycle, recycle.. how I adore Reese Witherspoon! Here she pulls off a more sexy, fun, hip look that I just think is just hot and fabulous! The hair, the legs, the skin… everything is beautiful!

Definitely a power woman, coming out of her devastatig divorce from Ryan Phillippe, she inspires women and mothers out there to be strong, confident and beautiful and just oozes with girl power! Absolutely loves!! A shining star!!
