Get Gossip Girl’s Blair Waldorf’s Look!

Published by shemah at 11:04 pm under Celebrity Fashion Edit This

Remember Gossip Girl’s Season 2 episode “Bonfire of the Vanity” last year? Where Blair Waldorf, (played by the gorgeous Leighton Meester) was celebrating her 18th birthday?

Well, let me jog your memory for you.

After that particular episode, the demand for the 100% silk $1990 Bill Blass “Flamenco” Backless Blouse was astounding! Needless to say, the blouse was SOLD OUT before Gossip Girl can even say XOXO!!

The blouse, however, had been altered by the stylist on the Gossip Girl set to make it completely backless - compared to the halter style that was originally designed by Bill Blass. Personally, I love the modified version more. It gave off a more sexy look yet still remaining elegant.

Anyways, I found a replica of this blouse at Forever21 the other day, and well, if you can’t afford to get the real deal for 2 grand, then you can always opt for cheaper options for only a fraction of a fraction of the original price. It was selling for RM99 over here in Malaysia, or in USD, that would be around $27, I believe.

So ladies, what do you think?? Splurge or bargain??? Lemme know!!

Love,
S.
